By installing or using ShotGuide, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
ShotGuide is a Chrome extension for capturing, annotating, exporting and sharing screenshots. The extension is local-first; optional share links and Pro licenses use the ShotGuide server.
2. Your content
You retain ownership of the screenshots and content you create. You are responsible for having the right to capture and share that content. Do not use ShotGuide to capture or share content you are not allowed to.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not use ShotGuide to break laws, privacy rights or website terms.
- Do not abuse the share server, attempt to decrypt other users' links, or overload the service.
- Do not redistribute ShotGuide as your own product.
4. Free and Pro
Free features are available without an account. Pro is a paid plan; a 7-day trial may be offered. Prices and features may change with notice. Payment and invoicing are handled by Waffo.
5. Availability
ShotGuide is provided “as is”. We aim for reliable capture and sharing, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that every page can be captured. Chrome internal pages and some cross-origin frames are restricted by the browser.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShotGuide is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the extension or share service.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
