Most issues are permissions or browser restrictions. Check these first, then email hello@shotguide.app with your Chrome version and the page URL.
Capture says “This page cannot be captured”
Chrome blocks extensions on chrome://, the Chrome Web Store and some internal pages. Open a normal http/https page. If you need local files, enable “Allow access to file URLs” for ShotGuide in chrome://extensions.
Full-page capture is missing sections
Some pages use virtualized lists or lazy content that changes while scrolling. Try again after the page finishes loading, or use the visible-area capture. If it repeats, send the URL and a screenshot of the page.
“Capture all tabs” asks for permission
All-tabs and batch capture use optional access to page URLs. The permission is requested only when you invoke the feature and can be revoked in Chrome's extension settings.
I paid but Pro is not active
Open License lookup, enter the purchase email (and order ID if you have multiple), and copy the license key. In the extension, open Upgrade → Have a license? and activate it. If the key is rejected, email us the purchase email and order ID.
Share link does not open
The link may have expired, reached its view limit or been revoked. Create a new link in Share links. The server cannot recover deleted or expired ciphertext.
